Adbusters encouraging everyone to stop consuming for just one day – 28th November 2009. I’d love to think this initiative could make people stop and think about doing it once a week in their own lives. Take your own coffee to work that day, make a packed lunch, swap the daily newspaper for reading online, these tiny actions do help. Ultimately the message is no matter how efficient and sustainable the products we make in the future will be – the best action is to start curbing our consumption and thirst for the new.
